You love cycling, but you didn't know any cool cycling rides in the country?
You've always wanted to see Lake Velence, but you never had the chance?
You don't have a bike, but after one month of online learning, you're eager to do something outside?
If any of the answers is yes, then we have good news... LAKE VELENCE CYCLING is made for you!
Don't worry it's for beginners too!
Meeting time & place: 3rd of October, 8.30 am at Déli Railway Station (we're going with the train Z30 that leaves at 9.10 am) - an ESNer will wait for you at the station and please DON'T BE LATE!
We will get off the train at Gárdony, where Eszter our Sports Coordinator will wait for you. She will walk you to the bike rental (which is around 500m away from the train station) if you need it, but of course, you can bring your own bike. After, we'll start cycling which will last approximately 3-4 hours (~30km). After the ride, you can go back to Budapest or just grab a beer in Gárdony and enjoy the beauty of Lake Velence.
What you need to do:
- Register if you're interested (registration form below)
- bring the train ticket price: with Student ID: 465 HUF/ride; without Student ID: 930 HUF/ride + if you're bringing your bike it costs and additional 235 HUF.
- bring the price of the bike rental for a whole day: 1800 HUF (only if you need to rent!)
- bring food and snacks for the ride
- wear something sporty
Please when registering, don't forget to mark whether you're coming with your own bike or you need renting one!
REGISTER UNTIL THURSDAY MIDNIGHT (1st of October) !!!

PS: Wearing a helmet is mandatory according to the Hungarian traffic rules, but we do not insist on you to wear one.
