Welcome to Magic Mic Comedy's second Open Mic show, guest hosted by the one and only Rupert Slade!
If you're not familiar with the format, an open mic essentially means that anyone is free to try themselves out on stage in front of a live audience – regardless of age, experience or level of skill. Whether you've been toying with the idea of trying stand-up for a while or you're a pro, now you'll have a chance to perform at Mika. All performers (12 total) get 5 minutes onstage. Please note this is a stand-up comedy open mic only.
Since we're happy to collaborate with ESN ELTE, we're reserving half of the spots for Erasmus students! Invite your new international friends and show them what you can do; or just dare someone to do it and see if they chicken out. You're only here for a few months – what have you got to lose?
Oh, and if you need some extra motivation, anyone brave enough to go onstage gets a free drink!
